Some dry flies will happed on overcast calm days, that is also a good time to try a steamer in slow water. At the Pyramid Lake, indicator fishing has been best with most fish caught from 6-10 feet. Lighter colored balanced leeches have seemed to be the ticket as of late

NEW TUNGSTEN BEAD BALANCED LEECH

How do we make a great classic even better? We have made some modifications to our Balanced Leech. Listening to staff, guides and customers we have adapted this Pyramid Lake classic pattern to now have a tungsten bead vs brass cone. This increased density holds tighter under an indicator allowing for greater sensitivity and greater hookup percentages. Our new Tungsten Bead Balanced Leech is built on the Ahrex 551, #6-60 degree jig is strong and barbless. No need to sweat if you have mashed the barb enough to meet regulations but also this hook is sticky enough not to need a barb.

This new improved variation is available instore and online in all of your favorite balanced leech colors.
