Week 4 of our summer league had been delayed for 3 weeks due to warm summer water temps. We all decided that a fishing near or above 68F was not good for the fish so we gave them a rest. After a bit of a cooling trend in afternoon weather we decided to go at it again. Fishing was a bit slow but a few fish were on the board changing up the overall standings slightly.
This was the last time that we will have an afternoon session. The plan is to move the League to Saturday mornings. This is for a variety of factors.
- Give anglers the chance to fish the same beats under different conditions.
- Try to optimize air and water temperatures for minimal impacts to fish and anglers.
- Allow opportunity for Drop-In anglers to participate that might have limitations/constraints during the work week.
Here are the overall standing after week 4. Only two more weeks. With the change in time and angling opportunity there is a lot of time left to shake up the leader board.
