Fly Tying 201

$50.00

Once you have completed the FT101 you are ready to take the next step in your fly tying journey. FT201 shares intermediate to advanced techniques to begin tying more complex fly patterns using both natural and synthetic materials as well as in depth instruction on techniques to make durable effective fly patterns for fresh and saltwater.

Instruction will include tool techniques, material selection and epoxy techniques to make the most of your fly ties. This is a class that you will spend approximately 2 hours tying fies. We require that FT101 have been taken so students are starting from the same place with foundational learning and exposure to the basics.

As in FT101 each student will have a completely appointed workstation to use during the class. We recognize that you might have begun to assemble your own fly tying kit of vise and tools. We encourage you to bring these but feel free to use ours if you would like.

You will have the opportunity to learn to tie several fly patterns that you can use in our regional waters.

There is a $75 fee for taking FT201. $25 will be given back to you as a gift certificate that can be used for instore purchases or your next lesson fee.

FF101 is required to take our FF201.
