The Reno Fly Shop has decided to temporarily close our doors to the public, this action will be on a week-to-week basis and updates to this status will come out weekly with our local fishing report.
This is a very difficult and compromising decision. However as the pandemic continues to impact each and everyone of us we felt it best to slow down and act, as we believe, in the best interest of our customers, staff and community.
General Operations
We plan to serve you and others customers by fulfilling online orders and phone orders that will be shipped to you free of charge. If you call the shop and we don’t get to you, please leave a message, and we will return the call back as soon as we can. We look forward to talking to you and shopping with you over the phone.

We have had a ton of support and the chance to help many of you with gear, flies and fishing intel over the phone. This has been and will continue to be a pleasure we don’t take for granted. We hope we can continue to provide a valuable service in a difficult time to all of you.
I find hope in that the Reno Fly Shop can be an outlet of recreation, enjoyment and stress relief as me all move into this unknown. We plan to be here for you and to support you in any way that we can.
Guiding Services
We will continue with adaptations to provide our fly fishing guide services. If you have a scheduled trip the guide will call you shortly and will fill you in on details of the appropriate steps we have implemented to insure you have a great day on the water. This situation is changing rapidly and we are trying to adapt with the information we have in a respectful, orderly and compassionate manner. We have always appreciated your support and hope that it can continue is some manner as we all modify our daily lives.
