The Hair Mouse is a streamer pattern fished on the surface. This fly is tied to float near the surface while allowing the underside to sink slightly. This presentation allows the fly to make a large wake as it is stripped or swung across the surface. This is a staff favorite when night fishing for brown trout or bass.
