The Foam Hex is a dry fly used during the Hexagenia Mayfly hatch in the summer months! This is one of the largest mayflies in the world and is easy to spot given its bright yellow pigment. This is a favorite through June and July on Lake Almanor, Fall River, and other regional waters near Reno.
