Good fishing on the Truckee River right now. High air temps seem to be breaking with afternoon t-storms. Let's hope this continues. Best bet is to get out before summer heat and the afternoon "tube" hatch and recreational users. Very late in the day can also be good when you will find late caddis, stonefly and evening hatches with fish often eating dry flies.
The crayfish are becoming more mobile as temps and sun angle increase into summer. Get ready it should be a good season.
