Our winter tying series happens again next Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 6:30 here at the shop. Mike will be teaching you how to tie the Cat Whisker Boobie. This is a great alternative to Ike Berry’s Pyramid Lake Foam Beetle. We have been fishing it all season with great results.
We will pull back the curtain and show you how to tie this simple yet effective pattern which has some unique materials only available at the Reno Fly Shop. Of course we will also be discussing the best approaches to fishing it at Pyramid Lake and sharing our experiences using it at other lakes.
